Kenyanstar met up with him had the chance to engage him in a short interview. Here are his thoughts on the Kenya Cup finals
KS: How does it feel to be in the Kenya Cup finals?
OS: It definitely feels nice to be in the Kenya Cup finals. It has been a great season, we’ve been working hard and we deserve to be in the finals. We were aiming to finish this season unbeaten but that was unlikely for us…..so it feels great to be in the finals.
KS: What do you think of Kabras Sugar as your opponent in the finals?
OS: Kabras is a worthy opponent side…they have had a good season too, so I think it will be a tough game. They have several of our former players so to me it will be an exciting match and we are very ready for them.
KS: Have you identified any of their weaknesses that you might want to capitalize on?
OS: Not really…. We are not working on their weaknesses but our own strengths. I believe that it is our strengths that are going to win us the game so we just have to practice on them and make sure that we are at our best in order to be the ultimate winners.
KS: What are your strengths as a team?
OS: Our strengths are in the breakdown areas, the scrums, utilizing our line-ups and also the rack areas. We are also working on converting every penalty into points….. So basically we are perfecting our strengths so that they can work to our advantage during game day.
KS: Any weaknesses in the team that you are working on?
OS: Eeer….not really, we are just trying to make our defense pattern to be on the right place at the right time to so as to deal with Kabras Sugar effectively.
KS: Are there significant injuries in the team that we should know of?
OS: No….we have no injuries. Every player is fit and ready for the game.
KS: So…. Are you confident of lifting the Kenya Cup 2016/17?
OS: Very confident, I don’t see any reason as to why we cannot win and we will give our best in the pitch to make sure that we carry the day.
KS: We wish you all the best in the finals.
OS: Thank you very much.
