When did you start playing volleyball?
I started playing volleyball at the age of 9 at Kawaii Primary school then extended this to Lugulu Girls which was also a pipeline for Volleyball back then and they sponsored me on a full bursary for four years.

When was your first national team call-up?
I was first called to the national team in 2008 and participated in the World cup qualification matches in Algeria. I then joined Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) in 2008 where I started playing professional volleyball.

When did you join Kenya Prisons?
I joined Kenya Prisons in  2009 and that has been my home up to now.

How far have you traveled with Volleyball?
I have gone far and wide with volleyball. My first outing was with KCB in the African Championships in Cairo, last year I was with Kenya Prisons in Japan and I was also there with the national team for the world championships.

Which are the best moments and worst moments of your career?
My best moment was when I had my first trip with the national team to the World Cup in Japan. I played against Italy and the result was great.  Japan was also a mixture of this as my worst moment also came from their when I fractured my ankle that is why I have not participated in the Africa Club Championships that we just won.

What are your future plans as a volleyball player?
At the moment I am at Prisons. They have employed me and I have to honor that. If a chance comes for me to go pro I will gladly take the opportunity.

Where do you see yourself five years from now?
I will be one of the best setters in the country.

What do you do off the field. Who is Florence Bosire off the field?
I am very talkative and I love meeting new people and friends. I also love visiting new places. I am simple and down to earth. Watching movies is my hobby and that is me.
