The Kenyanstar crew spotted the the young striker at training ground in south C and sought to find out more about him.
Kenyanstar: For how long have you been playing football and what teams have you played for so far?
Kennedy: I have played football since 2003. I played for AIS kenya between 2007 and 2008, before then i was with Premier academy in 2006.I have also had short stints at Nairobi Football Academy and Five star Warriors F.C this year.
Kenyanstar: What team do you play football for currently?
Kennedy: Since i left Five star warriors i haven't been attached to any team. I only come here(at the training ground) to train with my peers and keep fit. I have however been invited for trials at Ligi Ndogo this Saturday(28th august). I hope to make it.
Kenyanstar: What position do you play?
Kennedy: I'm a striker
Kenyanstar: Have you won any accolades in football so far?
Kennedy: While at premier academy i won two gold medals in two consecutive years as the schools best football player. And before the collapse of AIS Kenya, i was their lead scorer and even won a trophy for that when we won the Imara Daima tournament.
Kenyanstar: What has been your best moment in your young football career thus far?
Kennedy: When i won a trophy for best footballer and top scorer with AIS at the IMARA DAIMA tournament.
Kenyanstar: How would you compare the game in Kenya and the game in europe?
Kennedy: European football is far much better than our kenyan game but the insfrustracture says it all. While most european clubs boost of a home stadium, most kenyan clubs depend on communial stadiums. Kenya has however been steadilly improving and if the will and momentum is mantained then we could get somewhere.
Kenyanstar: What clubs would like to play for in future?
Kennedy: I work so hard and hope that my hard work pays of by way of playing for Sofapaka locally or either Liverpool, realmadrid or Barcelona in europe.
Kenyanstar: Do you see a pathway between your current team and your dream club?
Kennedy: Nothing is difficult in football you must trust in yourself and pray to God you reach where you want and i know through God i will reach there and what am planning is to work hard be disciplined on and off the pitch and to pray to God
Kenyanstar: Do you think you can earn a living playing football in Kenya?
Kennedy: I think that much depends on which team one plays for but yeah, you can earn a living playing football in kenya.
Kenyanstar: Where shall we see you in the next five years?
Kennedy: God willing with Sofapaka or some other Kenya premier league Club and hopefully I'll also be playing for Harambee stars.
Kenyanstar: What has been the contribution of Kenyan fans to the game?
Kennedy: Their has been an impressive turn out of fans in the stadiums this season. I think this is good for the kenyan game. Even though the stadium are still far from hitting capacity it's good to see kenyans no matter the number come see their local league. I've been particulaly impressed with the turn out for Gor mahia, AFC leopards and Harambee stars matches
Kenyanstar: What is your opinion on the accusations that some kenyan coaches favor certain players when choosing teams?
Kennedy: Well that has never happened to me but if their is anyone who does that and would like to listen to me then i tell them to stop.
Kenyanstar: Which one is your favourite team in kenya and Why?
Kennedy: I like the way sofapaka play football. I also think they are the most organised kenyan team.
Kenyanstar: Who is your favorite kenyan player player and Why?
Kennedy: I admire the Allan Wanga's pace while in the game. Being a striker like him, i consider him my role model.
Kenyanstar: What do you do everyday to improve on your football career?

Kenyanstar: Whats your parting shot for other upcoming and young players like you?
Kennedy: To believe in GOD and yourself. Opportunities come and if you get one, play as if you will never play again. I also wish to let them know that they should always remember that Without self-discipline, success is impossible, period!
