The Kenya Premier League is on fire
It has once again gone to the wire
Some clubs could perform better as a choir
They don't deserve to play in the top tier

But the Soldiers and the Brewers
Have weathered the storm all season
Either will be crowned but for a reason
Tusker have the experience, Ulinzi the determination

But it is Tusker over Ulinzi who have the edge
The lead, the goal difference, the advantage
Their's is also the meanest defence
While Congo's is the most porous defence

Ulinzi failed in their Operation Linda Kombe
Falling once to Sofapaka and twice to Ingwe
Maybe they should concentrate on Kulinda Nchi
Only a miracle can hand them the championship

Brewers want to reclaim, Soldiers want to retain
Will it be Black and Yellow to Ruaraka
Or Red and White to the barracks
Over to you Nyangweso and Pamzo

In the past two seasons it was at Afraha
Where the KPL trophy was lifted high
This time around it might be at Mumias
Shikokoti must be oiling his hands
