The AFC leopards vs Nairobi city stars fixture has been moved from Saturday the 28th of August to Friday the 27th of August. The match that was scheduled to be played at city stadium from 4pm will now be at Nyayo stadium from 3pm in the presence of the Prime Minister Raila Odinga. AFC leopards are free to attend the match since it is Nairobi city stars home game. The next two AFC leopards home games will however be played without the team's fans following last weeks IDAC rulling.

The Kenyan Premier League sponsors expand their countrywide coverage to include, for the first time, a match at Mumias Sports Complex and at Sony Sugar’s Awendo ground. On Saturday, Western Stima will move from their usual Bukhungu Stadium in Kakamega, to the neighbouring and better-looked-after Mumias Sugar Company’s Stadium to entertain Tusker of Nairobi.

Mumias Complex appears to be permanent future destination for top flight sport after some matches in the Bamburi Super Series Rugby were staged there earlier this year. Last year, exciting Group “B” matches of the Cecafa Challenge Cup were also played there.

Tusker, third on the table and two points behind leaders Ulinzi Stars, will be out to win at Mumias in order to maintain the tempo in the chase for the title. Western Stima are ninth and will also want to avoid any slip-ups that would lower them nearer the dreaded relegation zone.

On Sunday SuperSport cameras roll for the first time at Awendo, where the home team Sony Sugar (No.8) clash with KCB (No. 12).
