Arnold Origi Otieno was and is the hero
He kept the scoreboard reading zero-zero
The professional goalie at FK Moss
Ensured Kenya did not suffer a loss
And redeemed us the pride we had lost

He was without doubt the real 'KenyanStar'
The man between the posts for Harambee Stars
An angel for Kenya but the devil for Uganda
He stopped and killed the hopes of that nation
For the Yellows it was no longer a furi furi condition

Ugandans curse him, Kenyans praise him
Had he conceded just a single goal
The Cranes would now be headed to Gabon
Since 1978 they haven't qualified for AFCON
And their wait will continue to be long

I said it here last week that it would
Be difficult to lower Cranes in their backyard
The strikers proved it going forward
But the goalkeeper was not a coward
Origi made it look not so bad
